CDN Planning have secured planning consent for a non material amendment (NMA) application which proposed minor amendments to the previously approved two dwellings Fforetfach. The approved amendments include the reduction in width of the two dwellings to allow a side access for each property and changes to the material finish, along with several smaller details added to the site layout plan.
The planning system recognises that sometimes applicants want to change aspects of their approved application that are ‘non-material’, and thus do not require a full planning application. This means that an applicant can submit an NMA application for changes that are not considered to be significant or harmful. This cuts the determination period from 8 weeks for a standard application to 4 weeks for an NMA application.
