





Holding a diploma in Urban Design, with distinction, and a diploma in Town and Country Planning Kedrick is a director of CDN Planning (Wales) Ltd, and a specialist in development appraisal, design briefing, sustainable development and the UK planning system.
In addition to practice work with CDN Kedrick was a consultant to North Somerset Council for 11 years and delivered a number of regeneration/conservation projects including those at Portishead and Weston-Super-Mare where successful HLF/THI schemes where implemented with many businesses benefiting from his advice and guidance. In Wales Kedrick has engaged multi-disciplinary teams on major projects in the private and public sector including most recently the regeneration strategy for Porthcawl and Barry Waterfront.
Kedrick has been a member of the Design Review Panel at the Design Commission for Wales since 2005 and has assisted the DCfW with presentations and training events involving AM’s, elected members, planning inspectorate and local government officers. Concurrently with this work a considerable number of planning cases advising SME’s on the planning system and mechanisms to resolve problems or exploit opportunities have been completed. Kedrick was also an external examiner on the Planning & Architecture course at the University of the West of England for a fixed term of 3 years and has spoken at a number of conferences on design/planning and renewable energy related issues. He is also very experience in sustainable technologies (Biomass/Solar thermal and PV) and has prepared a number of Renewable Energy Studies and guidance documents.
