Appeal Submitted in Swansea

CDN have submitted an appeal against the decision of the City and County of Swansea to refuse planning permission to change the use of vacant first floor space as a residential property. The premises are located above a commercial unit in Tycoch and have been vacant for several years. The original planning application was refused due to the absence of off-street car parking.

Following on from appeal successes in Brynmill and Uplands, CDN have set out the case for the appellant, which is that in a sustainable location such as the appeal property, the lack of a dedicated parking space will not have any detrimental effects upon highway safety or the general amenity of the local area.
