Planning application for 22 apartments in Swansea city centre

A planning application has been submitted to Swansea Council proposing the change of use of Llanfair House, a prominent building within the city centre. The applicants are seeking permission to allow for 22 apartments on the upper floors of the property, in addition to enhancing existing commercial uses at ground floor level.

The proposal complies with the Council’s aspiration for property owners to make better use of vacant floorspace above commercial uses and it is anticipated that it will play a role in the overall regeneration of the city centre.

The application was reported in the Evening Post on 12 January and is due to go before planning committee in mid February. Please contact Matt Gray (01792 830238) for further information.
