The Team

  • Graham Carlisle

    Graham Carlisle (MRTPI) has almost 50 years town planning experience including extensive development control expertise and an excellent working knowledge of planning law and related case law. Graham has over 30 years experience as a planning consultant and prior to that led development control teams in a local authority, Graham advises a wide variety of clients from both public and private sectors. He has acted for clients at numerous planning appeals, including public inquiries, and is equally comfortable in undertaking the roles of expert witness and of advocate. Graham has also served as a contract Inspector to An Bord Pleanála (the Irish Planning Appeals Board). Graham has a BA in Geography from the University of Birmingham and an MSc in planning related research from Swansea University.

  • Amy Ravitz-Williams

    Amy Ravitz- Williams (MRTPI) has over 10 years experience as a town planner with both public and private and UK and international experience. In addition to town planning, Amy is also a skilled Project Manager having led a number of planning related projects for the New South Wales government as part of a PMO. She is a Full Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). Amy returned to CDN Planning in September 2018 after spending a number of years working for the Department of Planning and Environment in Sydney where she held a number of roles in both the development control and strategic planning teams including most recently managing a large scale urban regeneration project for the creation of 36,000 new homes. In addition to technical work, Amy has held a number of advisory roles providing interpretation and guidance to senior executives in the public service and ministers in relation to planning related issues. Since being at CDN, Amy has been able to use her negotiation and issues management skills to work on a number of complex projects and developments. Amy has a BSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and an MSc with Distinction in Planning Practice and Research from Cardiff University.
